Bearings Repair Company PME Looking for New Machining Facility

According to filings with the state, PME is considering Maysville along with its current locations as potential sites for the 21,500 square-foot project. The new facility, which would cost about $2 million to startup, is expected to create 20 jobs.PME provides bearing repair services, mainly to the power generation industry, and operates out of Cincinnati, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; and Reno, Nevada. The new facility would serve a variety of targeted industry sectors.Kentucky's Economic Development Finance Authority recently gave preliminary approval for a $750,000 tax credit toward the project.
