The Structure Of PU Timing Belt

The PU Timing Belt which is also called Polyurethane Timing Belt, is composed of three parts, that is: back, tension level and belt teeth.

(1) PU timing belt back
Belt back of Polyurethane Timing Belt to the tensile component adhesive coating should have good flexibility and flex fatigue resistance properties, not easy to aging, oil resistance, good wear resistance, there is an appropriate angular size groove in the back of the inner surface of the opening. Besides the requirements of technology, it can also improve teeth’s curved flex fatigue performance while it is running. Meanwhile, PU timing belt back set the tooth air escaping between the closure to eliminate some noise.

(2) wire rope (or polyester cord) tensile layer

Tension level is one of components of PU Timing belt which charges to deliver power and to ensure that the working season from the same belt. Polyurethane Timing Belt uses multi-strand wire rope (or polyester cord) along the tape width of the spiral-shaped manner around the cloth, its position to be the belt section line. Tension level must have high tensile strength tensile strength and resistance to bending fatigue. Large elastic modulus, not allow any extension when it is working to guarantee the fixed pitch of PU timing belt.

(3) Belt teeth of PU Timing Belt
Polyurethane timing belt teeth should have a higher shear strength, good abrasion resistance and oil resistance. Distribution requirement with teeth is very high. Belt teeth should match with the right gear to be meshing with the pulley groove, so it is strict requirements to the accuracy of geometrical parameters belt teeth. PU timing belt is popular with excellent oil resistance, wear resistance. It applies to high-speed operation with small power situation that the environment should be relatively dry and the working temperature is generally range -20 to +80 C.

The Technology of Welded Wire Mesh

Welded wire mesh is welded by high quality low carbon steel wire, by automation exact spot welding process after the formation of machinery and equipment, then, using dip zinc surface treatment process to deal. Once Welded wire mesh is finished, it’s net surface is smooth and tidy, solid structure uniform, the overall performance is good, even if the local cut-off or pressure will not loose. Welded wire mesh is a product which has strongest anti-corrosion ability among iron welded wire mesh and it is the most versatile type of network used in iron mesh. High-quality corrosion resistance making it widely used in the farming. Besides, it’s smooth and tidy net surface, an increase of perception, can play a decorative role, this feature also makes it somewhat in the performance of the mining industry. Due to adopt low-carbon materials for high-quality raw materials to make it alone iron screen with generally do not have a flexibility to determine its course in the use of plasticity, which can be used in metal processing technology aspects of the deep, complex wall plaster, underground leak-proof anti-cracking. So that the cost much lower than the cost of iron screen, better understand its economic benefits.

Generally, Welded wire mesh can be divided into hot-dipped galvanized welded wire, mesh welded wire mesh, PVC welded wire mesh, PVC welded wire mesh, galvanized welded wire mesh, welding galvanized welded wire mesh and stainless steel.

For example,PVC Welded Wire Mesh’s weaving and characteristics: wire coated after welding, has strong corrosion resistance to oxidation, color, bright, beautiful, corrosion preventive, non-fading, anti-ultraviolet radiation.

PVC welded wire mesh usually used in industry, agriculture, construction, transportation and other sectors of the fence, decoration, machine protection.

Why Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Get Rusty?

Stainless Steel Wire Mesh

Stainless steel wire mesh is rusty, stainless steel mesh couldn’t be rusty.” In fact, this is a lack of understanding of the one-sided stainless steel misconceptions. Under a certain condition, stainless steel welded wire mesh will be rusty.

Stainless steel wire mesh rely the surface layer to prevent the oxygen atoms to penetrate which is very thin and strong. Then it forms a stability of dense protective film to prevent from oxidation, and access to anti-corrosion ability. However, this ability is conditional. For some reasons, this film was the constant destruction of air or liquid oxygen will continue to infiltrate or metal from the iron atom out of constant analysis, the formation of porousiron oxide, metal surface corrosion also be kept. This surface film in the form of destruction of many more common in daily life are the following categories:

1. There is other metal elements containing dust particles or heterogeneous metal attachments on Stainless steel wire mesh’s surface. In humid air, condensation between fixtures and stainless steel water will allow the two together into a micro-battery to cause power chemical reaction. Then protective film is damaged, we call it electrochemical corrosion.

2. Stainless steel wire mesh surface adhesion organic juice (such as vegetables, soup, sputum, etc.), in the case of water oxygen to form organic acids, organic acids. Corrosion will happen on the metal surface of stainless steel welded wire mesh in the long time.

3. Stainless steel wire mesh surface adhesion containing acid, alkali, salts (such as wall decoration alkaline, lime water splash), causing localized corrosion.

4. Where air pollution (such as with a large number of copper oxide, aluminum oxide, sulfide, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, iron oxide in the atmosphere), the water molecules condensated to form sulfuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid solution point, causing Stainless Steel Wire Mesh chemical corrosion.

Situation described above can all get the surface of stainless steel wire mesh rusty and damage to cause corrosion protective film. Therefore, we should strengthen the protection of the surface of stainless steel wire to lengthen it’s best life.
